Many opt later for a redesign but  most of the customers prefer a design that is not too drastically different  from the one they have made an emotional connection with. Nevertheless, <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/when-to-stop-redesign\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">many  famous brands choose to rebrand completely<\/a><\/strong> and give their enterprise a new  makeover.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">\n<h3 class=\"related-post\">Related: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/the-year-of-peeling-off-logos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">5 Famous Brands that Peeled off their Logos in 2013<\/a><\/h3>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">Sometimes, when a brand is too famous, many logo design  enthusiasts re-imagine their concepts and make fan logos with different design  styles.  Their random logos showcase a  creative display of various perspectives. Some designers focus more on the writing  style; others use their ingenuity to find new icons and symbols in order to  experiment with the brand\u2019s corporate identity. Some apply one famous style  over the identities of many others. No matter what technique they use or what  component they alter, it\u2019s always interesting to see their results.<\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-top:40px; margin-bottom:20px;\" align=\"center\">\n  <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/logo-design?utm_source=transformation-of-famous-logos&amp;utm_medium=topbutton&amp;utm_campaign=ctatracking\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"cta-button\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Make A Logo Design<\/a><\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">The logos that are typically experimented with are of  Microsoft, Apple, Firefox, Twitter, etc. At times, their logo reproductions are  so amazing that one begins to like the alternative more than the original logo.  At the very least, this exercise provides creative content to inspire other  logo and graphic designers. Here is a set of five famous logos which have been  recreated with different icons and color adjustments. They have been  transformed to achieve a new look. What if famous brands were really as  different as the following logos?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">\n<h2>1.\tTwitter<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Twitter.jpg\" title=\"Twitter Logo\" alt=\"Twitter Logo\" width=\"550\" height=\"281\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">We are all familiar with the harmless, innocent, and happily chirping Twitter bird that soars upward. Have you ever thought of achieving that same innocent impression with the use of actual features and expressions? What if the Twitter bird had puppy-dog eyes? What if it were resting on a branch of tree and not always in the flight mode? What if Twitter wasn\u2019t that innocent after all? What if the bird was angry \u2013 really angry!?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">\n<h2>2.\tPolo Ralph Lauren<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Polo.jpg\" title=\"Polo Logo\" alt=\"Polo Logo\" width=\"550\" height=\"300\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">This happens to be one of my personal favorites. I have not only been a fan of their brand for a long time but also of their sporty logo design. The logo is somewhat similar to that of the U.S. Polo Association logo with silhouettes of two polo players but, for some reason, I find the Ralph Lauren one rather graceful and majestic because of the handsome horse and player. Let\u2019s imagine, for a moment, though: what if that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/industry\/horse\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">horse<\/a> was replaced with a\u2026wait, a what!?&#8230;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Polo-donkey-logo.jpg\" title=\"Polo Donkey Logo\" alt=\"Polo Donkey Logo\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\"><\/td>\n<td align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Polo-zebra-logo.jpg\" title=\"Polo Zebra Logo\" alt=\"Polo Zebra Logo\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">Ha ha, terribly funny, isn\u2019t it? Now, something that might  retain the \u2018handsome\u2019 part a bit\u2026<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">&nbsp;<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">\n<h2>3.\tLacoste<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Lacoste.jpg\" title=\"Lacoste Logo\" alt=\"Lacoste Logo\" width=\"550\" height=\"296\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">Ren\u00e9 Lacoste introduced the unique crocodile identity in the 1920s, which is also considered by many as the first logo identity to be displayed visibly on a garment. There is an interesting story behind the establishment of this icon, but today, it holds true that there is a possibility of not thinking of the brand Lacoste when you see a crocodile, but the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/industry\/animal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">animal<\/a> invariably comes to mind when you speak about Lacoste.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">Would you be impressed if Lacoste was represented by an  animal like this?<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Lacoste-lizard-logo.jpg\" title=\"Lacoste Lizard Logo\" alt=\"Lacoste Lizard Logo\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\"><\/td>\n<td align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Lacoste-turtle-logo.jpg\" title=\"Lacoste Turtle Logo\" alt=\"Lacoste Turtle Logo\" width=\"250\" height=\"250\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">Okay, the Lacoste Company might have to end their apparel  and fragrance line for women. Let\u2019s think for a moment, what can be a better substitute for their world-famous brand identity. Puma<\/h2>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"center\"><img decoding=\"async\" style=\"border: 1px solid #ccc; margin: 5px; padding:5px\" src=\"https:\/\/www.designmantic.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/06\/Puma.jpg\" title=\"Puma Logo\" alt=\"Puma Logo\" width=\"550\" height=\"294\"><\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr>\n<td colspan=\"2\" align=\"left\">It doesn\u2019t get any better than this, really. Puma has one of the most targeted logos in the world which logo enthusiasts keep meddling with. But the original Puma icon is still too well-established to be confused with anything else. It\u2019s simplistic and powerful.
